A questionnaire

Hi there, i haven't been here for some time.  Infact i've forgotten my password, so have re-registered using a similar username to my old one.  (Could one of the Mods possibly send me my old password.  I think my old user name was just asuris...i think!)

ANYWAY!  I wondered if the mods would let me do a quick questionnaire.   I was shocked to find that I was bottlefed as a baby, and I would be fascinated to know if there is a link with the development of psoriasis.  These are the questions i would like to ask members of the forum.

Were you:

(a) breast fed
or
(b) bottle fed
or
(c) don't know (it really would be useful if people could take a deep breath and try and ask their mum's!)

If breastfed, how long were you breastfed for?

What is your age?

The reason i'd like to know people's age is because attitudes to breastfeeding have changed over the years, ie there my be more people of my generation 40s,  who weren't breastfed than in babies born since the 70s.

I asked a friend of mine and apparently its a question being asked in a big national survey on health called the Biobank (google it), so i think it is a pertinent question.

not sure if i made it clear in my first post, but what i'd like to do is an actual poll type thing, which i think you've done before, which means that the mods would have to set it up, so i need feedback as to whether it can be done or not.
i've also thought of a final question to be added which is...

at what age did you first develop psoriasis?

I'll ask but wouldn't the create a poll function ( near the new topic tab) enable you to create a poll or do you want something more complex?

Hi Jane,
This caught my eye as it's something I have wondered about myself from time to time. I wasn't breast fed and have had p since about 7yo. I took the liberty of making up a poll in the test section to see what could be done. Take a look and let me know if that covers it or not. If it does you could easily re-create in one of the main boards or I could edit/move the test one...

I had no idea there was a poll function - you PHO guys think of everything!

dear daniel, i took a look at what you've done and it looks great.  I get carried away with my ideas, but i think its probably best to keep it simple.

which board is best, do you think?  It would be good to have it on both the conventional and alternative medicine boards, whatever you think is best.  Would it be possible for you to post it up there, as you seem to be more au fait with the technology than myself, and i haven't got a computer at home, just grab an hour now and then in the library?

Glad you're OK with what I've done. I'm happy to put this up for real but not sure about putting it on more than one board. 
The Recreation Room seems very popular and is for general P related stuff. I'll put it there. 
Where ever it goes it will show up in 'unread posts' for peeps next time they check.
