chat room any updates

since the return of the chat room the sequel 

are there any plans for anything new to be added

one thing i have noticed when i have used it is alot of newbies go straight there, is there any way to add links or something into the chat room so new members can navigate round rest of site easier ?

it gets a bit tricky trying to explain to them all at times the other parts of the boards as cos its new to them they dont know what we are talking about
