Internet Browser

Has anyone used Opera as their Internet Browser?  If yes, what do you think?

I’ve been on a couple of course for Dreamweaver and some of the designers that attended use Opera Internet Browser.

I’ve downloaded it and not sure if I am that keen on it, and out site doesn’t look 100% with it.

On the main window, the News section appears with all the News rather than just rollover images.

And when you log in Opera asks if you want to continue sending information unencrypted and when you post.  Is this just the browser??  :-/ And it's messed up my smilies  >:(

Hi Anna,

I use Opera at home sometimes.  It seems to be a lot faster than the explorer, and i love that when I shut it down and open it back up again, all the old windows I had open come back up.  There is a problem with the layout, like for instance in my own personal site, but that is probably something that can be fixed up easily if I or my designer (baby bro) weren't such lazy bums...

Anyway, it gets a thumbs up from me

Cheers Guys,

Not used Opera much since downloading but I know others that think it's much fast and a lot better than IE.

Will give it another go

Anna  ;)

((:y If peeps have to use ie,
try downloading avanti,it works inside  ie,
so it has the same loopholes, but it dont take up system resourse's,and it does cut out a lot of adware,
just customise the buttons, and thats it,if you have to ie... ((:c
