Because more people wanted rid than wanted to keep karma. Maybe we should have a similar poll about religion? Kidding! Ha, can't be smited/smitten anymore either. I could say B U M and what would you do?
How come I totally missed the poll btw? Has it been hiding?

But the poll says other wise....how do you know more people wanted to get rid if the poll doesn't back you up?

Ooops just read the poll heading...bit missleading though as the thread heading is "Keep the Karma Ststem" which would sugest that a yes vote would be to keep it...and there was me thinking there was some sort of mod conspiricy ;-)

i wonder what horse race this was

and in front its yes followed by couldnt care less coming up the rear is a no

three furlongs to go and its yes yes  followed by couldnt care less and no still bringing up the rear

and into the final furlong its yes yes yes followed closly by couldnt care less and bringin up the rear is a no

and across the finishing line its yes yes yes followed by couldnt care less by a whisker and romping home from the rear is a no

Correct me if I'm wrong Daz, but I get the impression that you don't care very much?

It was awful.  The intention is that if you agree with what someone said - you gave them good Karma - if you disagreed then you gave them a smite :(  So as you can imagine - human nature being what it is - people did not even have to post anything - logged on and had been smited ten times ;D  Best decision the MODS ever made was getting rid of it
