I am not sure if this philispophy is bog standard or not but on alot of forums there is a golden rule.

Attack the post , not the poster. This makes life simpler and easier for everyone.
yours etc,
             Mr Prentice.

Not a bad idea Mr Prentice and I think a dose of good manners help too.

Hi Prentice

Couldn't agree more. I for one am getting fed up with little jibes that I see in the forum from time to time. Seems to have been too much of it lately. Fortunately it is only a small amount of posts but it sill goes against the grain of the forum.."a friendly environment to discuss Psoriasis free from harassment".

I would ask that if anyone has a problem with another member or feels that a member is not who they say they are they should raise it to me or one of the other mods. There is a danger that members or potential members will be intimidated when they see these sort of posts and I want to avoid that at all costs.

Regards
Michael

Was a bit worried about that too, just didn't know how or where to say it  ;)

Nice refreshing thread - don't have to say anything more - only that I totally agree  :)

It's good to know that there are moderators looking out for this kind of thing and they are all very approachable people.

Hi

This thread originated while I was away on hols, and I've only just got back, but I just wanted to say I completely agree with its sentiment.

Well flagged up, Mr Prentice  :)

I agree that this should be a haven away from the ignorance of others. :)

hmmm, not to mention that we've seen a couple of 'em pished!

Nice post prentice. It annoys me too when I see people having digs at others. Mind you, I'm not gonna pretend for a minute that I think I haven't written posts like that, coz I'm sure I have. Not intentionally being harsh, but I've re read them afterwards and cringed!

People should read messages and check them, especially if they are expressing a point of view, as it's impossible to show your true meaning online. It's easy to misinterpret something (I've done that too  :-/)

THanks for listening

Michael, please don't kick me off the forum!! ;)
