I think it is a mistake, I use chit chat more than any other board, though I do read all the messages from the others, I very rarely post on them. I have made many friends on chit chat but probabaly won't be around as much now! Still will be here though, can't do without you lot of nutters!

It wasn't a decision which was taken lightly, but after a particularly unstable time, it was felt that something needed to be done to return the whole forum to a better balance.

"Due to ongoing issues/problems with the chit chat board it has been decided to take it off-line for a few days whilst we decide what to do longer term… We really don't want to remove the board indefinitely as we appreciate that it provides a great deal of support to members but this is an option being considered. It is felt that the recent issues/problems are detracting from the main purpose of the forum and that it is pulling the focus away from the real reasons the forum was established. Although this may feel like a heavy handed approach it seems, at the moment, the only way to control the situation as the Chit Chat board is taking up so much moderating effort.

idd and it wasnt without warning

i just feel now, that many innocent people have now been punished, for the actions of a select few .. i hope you  select few all now realise and feel bad for these actions that you were continiously warned about ...

Mod bashing is totally unacceptable , the mods are also p suffers, and really dont need the s h i t that has been thrown at them the last few weeks, all of them have full time jobs, and shouldnt be spending hours on sorting out school ground issues, every day !!... and then getting slated for it

The decision was made as a result of the amount of modding time chit chat was taking up (a lot!). It was not based on any particular member's posts. 

The general tone of chit chat, the arguments between members, mod baiting, mod bashing, people's personal issues with each other etc. etc. were just getting too much to deal with. It was felt that chit chat was taking a lot of time away from posting on the psoriasis related boards.

It would not be helpful to point fingers at anyone or speculate over whose posts made the most work in chit-chat and will probably just cause more arguments between members (my personal opinion).
