structured forum

Firstly, the forum is GREAT.  But it needs to be more structured.  Some topics are repeated countless times.  It should be sorted info sub forums for topics etc.  It will get rid of all the repetition etc.

Thanks for the feedback Eytan. I will bear it in mind next time the forum is rearranged. ;)

I find that a lots of topics get repeated as new members join though.
They just get refreshed for us oldies and sometimes we get some new ideas!!

i think with new peeps joining all the time subjects really do need repeating and you could miss an awful lot if you werent online for a few days

Absolutely...things get repeated because new people join in. It is near impossible to read everything written here if you are new, so you tend to ask a question that may have been asked 20 times before over the previous year...

The great thing is that new people also give new answers and suggestions and experiences...so no topic, how ever often it might be repeated, is exactly the same.

I quite like the 'fluid' nature of the site. I think it shows a human side to the words...like real people meeting up and having a real discussion.

I also think, as the site gets bigger with more and more people, that things will change and, at some point, new structuring will take place. It all takes time and experience however....

Hope to see more of you, Eyton

A forum is a bit like reading a magazine for a number of years - you start getting a feeling of deja vu as the same topics keep on coming up each time. It must be like being an agony aunt.
