Why don't we have a map?

Would it not help to have a map?  I think it would help for planning regional events

Yes If we could mark where we live it could make it easier to organise a FB or even advise each other about local issues.  I wish I had known about this forum when they decided to shut down the local inpatient derm ward WITHOUT consulting patients and staff under consultant level.
It would give us the chance to demand 1st class treatment instead of us often feeling skins are not important compared to other departments.

Hmmm my thinking cap is on now...

If it is technically feasible (Michael being admin super techy bloke  :D) then we would have to 'split' into regional sections...so if anyone was posting on a regional subject, as Maggie said, they'd automatically 'know' what region they were (if that makes sense?).

I live in North Herts at the moment so I would reasonably be East Anglia?

But we have so many members, how would we fit everyone 'on' it who wanted to take part?

More thinking methinks...

We in the UK live in counties why not on a county basis?  I know the rough borders of mine.  Anyone who is near the border can go just inside the county line.  We don't really need county maps cause if we would fall next door health wise we can always check 2 county postins

or it could be done like the tv areas - Central, Anglia, london, South, North West, etc etc

lol Elaine...you can't have time to ever watch TV, what with little kidlies and being here!

(I hardly watch the darn thing myself...Big Brother, what's that then?  ;D).

I got the wrong end of the stick...we aren't thinking about this to pinpoint members, right? Just for events?
