adding a pic to my profile problem

i dont seem to be able to add a pic from my documents to my profile . its all changed since i last added a pic of myself . i am a bit of an idiot at these things could someone talk me through it please .  ady

Hi

It is not possible to upload pictures into your profile (yet) but you can upload them into the new Gallery then link to them..

Click on the camera to learn how to use the new forum Gallery You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Once you have uploaded the image you can use one of the links provided. For example you will see a link in a box called "Direct link to image"

Highlight this link, then right click with your mouse, and then select copy to copy the link. Next  go to your profile and select the "options" link

Then select "I have my own pic:" and paste the link you copied from the "Direct link to image" box into the box alongside it.

Then scroll down and click on the Change Profile button...

Does all this make sense?

In your profile you have the link to the image set to:

http://You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

As you can see you have http:// twice

You are only supposed to have it once:
