How long does it take?

I tried to change my pic on profile, it didnt seem to work yesterday even when I cleaned up the file, however today I see it has worked. However on second glance I hate the pic, I've now tried to change the pic again and the same thing has happened, it doesnt seem to have changed. How long does it normally take?
