Hi Michael,
Thanks for your response. I am almost certain that whatever is causing this issue is not local and more likely a server side issue. As it happens I already am a user of CCleaner and regularly clear all the junk that my browser accumulates. Anyway, I have come by further evidence today that it is not a problem with my browser, Internet connection or PC. If you look at this You are not allowed to view links.
Register or
Login in the 'Brand new what are you listening to' thread you'll see that the crying smiley was not rendered.

I have viewed that post in different browsers and that is still the case. Just to be absolutely certain that it is not something local i.e. my browser not loading the the crying smiley Animated GIF image from your server I viewed the source code for that section of the post and this is what your server outputted:
<br /><br />A song to :'( then <img src="http://www.psoriasis-help.org.uk/forum/Smileys/yabb/smiley.gif" alt="Smiley" border="0" /> withAs you can see the crying smiley Animated GIF image is not actually linked to but the happy face smiley Animated GIF image is. It is not actually possible for this output to have arisen due to browser, cache, PC problems or anything with a local explanation. Even if the browser could not load the image from the server or local cache then you'd still see the link in the HTML source code and furthermore you'd see a broken image rather than the text version of the smiley.
It should be noted that in both my original Munchkin post and in the Dire Straits song post there is a video embedded from YouTube in the post - could this be a contributing factor. I should also add that the crying smiley renders correctly on 'Preview' and the issue only arises after the post is submitted.
Thanks,
Ives
