Page loading problems

Trish and I have both found that pages on all the boards fail to load at times. Does'nt matter what time of day it is.

It is definitely not our browsers, Trish uses IE at work and at home and experiences the problem from both locations and I use Safari.

And hitting re-load does'nt solve the problem. The only way we've found to resolve it is by closing the page window and reopening the page which then requires us to re-log on.

Anyone else found this ? Is the PHO server playing up ?

I have not noticed the problem? So what happens exactly, can you post a screen shot? Do you just get a page cannot be displayed message?

Yes, I have experienced this within the past couple of days.

I have a MacBook and use Firefox for browsing.

Happened to me a couple of days ago too. Couldn't get on the forum, page just not loading. Went the long way around through main PHO site and had to log in. Hasn't re-occured since. I assumed the server had purged long term logged in peeps for some reason or another.

I don't get any message, Michael.    They page simply does not load when I click on a thread to open it.   The page just sits there as if you haven't done anything.    Even if I click a different tab, like 'home' nothing happens.    I click my home page which loads without problem to get out of it and then come back to PHO, sometimes it loads and works okay and sometimes I just have to leave it.   Then I can come back and hour later and all is fine 

I doesn't happen everytime I'm here.

Same as Trish really. Page does'nt re-load when you go to another topic. Simple as that ! It is inconsistent and does'nt happen all the time but frustrating when it does as SSplash describes..

Instead of posting a screen shot, I can describe events if you are familiar with Safari ~ above the bookmark bar you have a web address then the RSS feed graphic and then a Reload graphic. When the page freezes instead of a Reload graphic you then get an 'X' graphic which denotes that the page was not found or the action was incomplete.
