Putting (new) after the title

Hi, whenever I post a new topic the blue (New) sign isn't displayed next to the title. Do I have to add it myself?

Hi Trace,  the 'New' bit only shows to you if a thread has a new reply since you last clicked on it.

So . . . . when you opened the Help Board to access this thread again just now, it should have had 'New' in the thread title, because I had been here and replied. Once you go back to the main board the 'New' will be gone again, until someone else comes along and puts a reply (not including you of course).

Does that make any sense,  it does to me
