When's a guest not a guest?
« on: November 19, 2002, 08:08:13 AM »
Sometimes when I return to the main forum page (chat & help) I've been logged out & come up as being a guest - anyone know y? (Not that big a problem but it a bit of a pain sometimes!)

Prob I'm finding is if I go back up the menu to an earlier menu it calls me a guest after I've logged in.
Don't know whether it's my comp or wot? ???

Hi Scruff

Yes it's your computer. For the forum software to know you are logged on it places a couple of cookies on your PC. For some reason your PC is not letting the forum software see the cookies, it may be the security settings of your internet browser are too high.

If you are using internet explorer try your Security and Privacy settings at Medium to see if this makes any difference...
