hi Brizee Wink

yes, located on top rear of a shopping centre car park!..entrance from the car park too!
not quite what i or deedee/paul thought it would be.  Quite modern on the inside of the clinic though.
who did you see ? what dosage regime are you following brizee?
they also open till 9pm i think most days Smiley which is a bit out of the ordinary for english clinics where i live! 6pm max here.
fingers crossed for you...

Hi all.  We didn't take any pre-ldn photos, but you are right Pie - it is a good idea.  You can forget yourself what sort of stage you were at before starting any new treatment.

Anyway, we took a couple of photos at the weekend, but I've no idea how to get them on here.  Clicked on the "insert image" box and thought that would call up a list of my documents in my pc where the photos are saved.  Not what happened!  Any tips?

hiya deedee Smiley

you can download a program called dropbox onto your pc.
this is what i use and is really easy to insert pics onto a post from your pc..
see my post in this thread:
http://www.psoriasis-help.org.uk/forum/index.php/topic,39231.0.html

depending on the resolution of your pics, you may need to make them smaller in size.
/resolution, you can download a free image editor /resizer at:
http://www.irfanview.com/main_download_engl.htm

once installed, click on a pic, it will open with irfanview, you can then choose image-resize/resample
and have options to decrease size etc...
normally pics off a digi camera depending on resolution could be a few mb in size, need to reduce them
to ideally under 500kb and as jpeg/jpg files.

give us a shout if you need help! Smiley

I saw Dr haggerty, really nice bloke, chatted for almost an hour. What a difference it makes seeing people when you go private. No patronising junior derm with no idea, no old duffer waiting for retirement with no motivation for new ideas.
Im starting on 1mg for a month, then 2mg for 2 weeks followed by 3mg for 2 weeks then hopefully 4mg after. No changes yet, but as we know these things take time.
To be 100% honest i dont expect much from Ldn, but if it makes things marginally better i'll be back up to scotland with a case of champagne for the doc.

just a few questions for you:   Did you do any xmas shopping in the Rutherglen centre?

Were you concerned about leaving your car in Rutherglen?

Did you partake in the local nightlife?

Do you hope you never have to go back?

How is your skin recently much progress?

Photos - not sure I can cope with all that downloading stuff - maybe will have a try when I've got lots of time and daughter isn't pestering to get on here!

As to the clinic Brizee, we took a cheapie flight from Luton to Glasgow and then a couple of buses.  Dr suggested he wouldn't need to see Paul for 6 months and we think if that falls around school Easter holidays, we'll take a short break in Edinburgh and tie in a trip across country!

Got 2nd prescription through today - will up to 2ml in the next couple of days.  I definitely think the skin isn't building up so much and although there isn't more improvement than that, it hasn't got any worse either, which at this time of year is something we'd have expected.  We hope maybe 1ml has been keeping it "at bay", and hopefully an increase in the dose might move that on a bit.
