I hide mine all the time. I'm a secondary school teacher and can't bear the thought of the 300 or so pupils that I teach all wondering and gossiping about me. I suppose it could be the perfect opportunity to educate plenty of people about it, but I'm not there for that reason... And I'm chicken!  ;)

Someone must have caught sight of the guttate on my ankles once though cos there was a rumour going round that one of the music teachers had chickenpox.

It's mainly on my arms and legs, with a few small spots on my face that I try to cover with make-up. Also a bit on the palms of my hands.

I find it really odd that people don't know what it is. Although I've suffered from it for less than a year, I've known about it for more than 20 years and don't understand how other people don't - even my brother and he's a high school english teacher. ho come i knew and he didn't - premonition?? surely not!

I show mine all the time, it's all over my face, arms, hands, scalp, legs... even on the soles of my feet!
To be honest I'll be damned if I'm gonna try to cover myself up entirely , I'll wear whatever I want to, whether others like it or not.
I don't flaunt it, but I don't hide it either. It's part of who I am so people should realise that.
