(Sad)Not any more.

Hi a little moan

Just got my 3rd certificate from the Dr still have no money comming in if it was'nt for the fact that I live with my partner where would I be.  Up until Feb this year was carer to my father who was terminally ill.  Got no money but at least I was able to be with him in his last months.  By the time we new it was to late to get help money wise on the first day my dad got full allowances, he died the next day.  Although he left me some money my move to where I live Bristol now.  From the North West and household bills used it all up.  Just been in touch with disability avisers they are sending me some forms tomorrow  :snif: :snif:

I am really down although I have worked twenty years of my life, brought up my 2 daughters help one of them through college along side her partner too.  Last 5 years on my own with my Dad who lived with me for 13 years after my Mum died,  pa and p ruptured left leg tendon twice because of the pa.  The tendon as been restructured by taking a tendon out of my big toe and there's no quarantee it will remain intact.  Tendon in  right leg not in good condition either, went to college for 21/2 years 7IT Quals and NVQ Office Admin changed direction to get work and here I am tendon in a mess.  Keep your fingers crossed for a little dwarf Grandmum who would love to earn a living again, except for the fact I have found a very caring new partner who is 8 yrs younger than me, well perhaps that will tell you that I am a tough little soul been through all kins of pain, have by passed it all, but at the moment I am wondering what next, have had p since I was 18 mths old and although it is'nt to bad it as travelled to different parts of me scalp, neck, elbows, ankles and leg and I always get the pain before it appears, it can be wicked I have had crutches available to me for 4 yrs.

Sorry about the moan but I too now how some of you feel if not all.  Your forum is special to pepple like us long may it go on, and thanks for the support you really do'nt no what it means to me.

THANK YOU
MAUREEN

Hi Maureen,

Sorry you have had such a tough time , life seems just like one impossible uphill climb sometimes doesn't it ?

I think the one important thing I have learned from this board in the short time I have been here is that it's perfectly OK to feel P*****D off with our lot in life.
I have felt like my life was in a box that was getting smaller and have felt very very low.
But then I get bloody angry and think, no I won't let this damn disease rule my life , and I stick my chin out and battle on.

I too have problems with my ankles as they are collapsing inwards.  Is the tendon injury caused by the inflammation ?
I hope you are soon feeling brighter, and if you just want a moan I am always here to listen.

Hugs    Silvie    ;D

Fingers crossed for you, Maureen.

You are darn unlucky, huh? Hope the financial aspect sorts itself out quickly....

And as for the PA. You can do nothing more than take each day as it comes and each knock on the chin like that too. Not much help that...but you know what I mean  ;)
