Hi every1,
I'm new to the forum

but have suffered for 13 years now with Palmoplanter Pustular Psoriasis

It started around the tips of my fingers causing terrible deformation to my nails which is when i 1st went to see my GP.
I was initially told (as indeed i'm sure many others are) that i had dermatitis and was told to use an emollient such as "E45" under occlusion and to soak my hands in a soloution containing a few crystals of Potassium Permanganate.
I followed the Docs advice for 2 weeks without any improvement and then on my next visit he suggested i try "Betnovate" (a topical steroid cream) I used this for about 4-5 months and it did seem to help.
That was 12 years ago and apart from the occasional flare-up (which i treated with "E45") i've been ok.
UNTIL about 10 months ago it started coming back, but not only around the tips of my fingers, it is spreading and now covers approx 80-90% of both my hands!!
Anyway, i've taken up far too much space. Thanks for all your potions and lotions. Thanks for your time
