Fed up today

Hi Gal, just wanted to say i've been taking an anti-histamine (piriton) since starting uvb (i've had 7 sessions so far) coz i was going CRAZY with itchy skin everywhere!!, and also bought some of that E45 itch relief cream it's only in a tiny tube but i've been putting it on the itchiest parts only! I mentioned to the lady at the hospital about the itching and she said it was all part of the process and reduced my time for that day. As you said, i hope it's all worth the itching and burning  . I've seen some definate results although my face is taking longer to improve, but hope it helps you too.

Jus a general question. does everyone feel that this disease is goin to be the death of them? every day i wonder how much longer it can go on for.

Hi  hope your feeling lots better... i too go really stressed and just wanted to cry with the soreness and itchyness after the UVB last Friday, i was beginning to get really depressed with it all as the treatments we'nt helping but making it spread and much worse. I would'nt let it get the better of you...There IS a way to get rid of this...it's just finding one thats the difficult part.I decided to do some research and help myself. I'm now using Aromatherapy and it's helping alot.

Thanks to all of you for your suggestions and kind words and jokes  I loved the deer joke RiaY.
My p really settled down over the weekend and I had another dose yesterday. P is a bit red today but it should be OK by tomorrow, I'me armed with anit-histamins just in case. It does get you dwon sometimes but we just have to get on with it don't we. Lol to you all
