as psoriasis really getting me down. Hi! Just joined this evening and pleased to read so much on here not related to the dreaded p. (Have made a note of some of the jokes for work on Monday!)
I joined the site in the hope of reading about other peoples' experiences, and maybe getting clues about what I can do,and yes, also hoping a miracle cure might be mentioned somewhere! Have had psoriasis for 25 years - oh God - and nothing worked except PUVA 3 years ago when I was more than 50% covered. It stayed away for over ayear and I felt like a different person, so confident. Now, it's back with a vengeance. Has anyone on here been to Dead Sea recently? How long did p. stay away? Does this site ever arrange for group bookings to go? I'd like to go, but even if I remortgage the house, am chicken about going alone!
I think the idea of local get togethers is brilliant - lets go swimming together and scare the hell out of the smoothies! They'll REALLY be convinced it's catching then.
