Wel, I must say that I am surprised I've ended up in a psoriasis forum, but am feeling a bit of a fraud after reading some of the other stories in this thread.
I have had problems with my elbows and the tops of my feet for about 15 years (I'm 34 now) but have just been putting up with the itching and the soreness as it is irritating rather than disabling. In the past 2 years it has also affected my knees and this last flare up on my knees has been the worst so far and sent me to the docs for the first time. I had heard of Psoriasis before but didn't associate it with my symptoms as in my ignorance I thought it was an all over thing and wasn't related to what I had. Of course the doc knew straight away what it was and I have come away with Eumovate cream and Diprobase in the hope that next time I have a flare up I can get rid of it quickly and not have to hide my knees (I have high hopes of a sunny summer). This last flare up I also had achy knees which I didn't mention to the dos so I am hoping that will go away, as I have enough health worries at the moment without that too.
Anyway, just thought I'd say hi so I didn't feel like I was eaves dropping.
Saffy.
