Hi peeps I'm Dean and have suffered with P for 27 years :cry:, in the last I'd say 6 years it has become increasingly worse and my periods of remission shorter. I usually spent up to 4 weeks a year in Hospital having Dith and lamp but on my resent visit was put on Methotrixate  wich gave me all sorts of side effects .  I have now though been clear for 5 months after having Puva and lamp never had it before and cleared me completely  :D .....though I did end up with a darker tan than David Dickinson ......I am now left as we head into winter checking my body every day wondering when the damn stuff will return , but so far so good.

Glad the MTX is working, it's a great feeling to look in a mirror and see only healthy looking skin.  Hope your remission is a long one.

stains and nbuvb..armed with goggles and a sock ::)

I had PUVA treatment in the past, which went ok(ish) I remember the goggles and the sunglasses....why the sock???????????????????

Murmur , the sock is for gents to pop their meat and two veg into (pardon my french )to save from burning in the lamp  :o
