Hi there and welcome aboard :)

I am sorry - my reply is very late.

When I was first diagnosed with p nobody told us what it was and I actually believed it was curable til yeeeeears later ::)

I don't know if you found the pa section of this site yet.
There you will find a lot of info on pa - but you're more than welcome to ask any time.
I was diagnosed with pa last year. the board and the wonderful people on here helped me through the worst of times.
Actually the diagnosis was quite a relief because the treatment has so far proved quite effective and my problems got better than I could imagine.

It would be a good idea to get loads of ifos before you see the doctor to discuss the x-rays. The more questions you ask the more answers you'll get ;)
.... and if you (like me) are prone to forget things... don't hesitate to make a written list and take it with you. It could help :)

welcome aboard,
