Hi there, thought i had better introduce myself. my names Angela, im 27 and had p for 13 years, been kinda under control for the past 2 years - i had a good sized flare up in september and my derm put me on cyclosporin(spelling is terrible!) anyway - that didnt work and now my p is worse tahn EVER so my aunt whos a nurse pointed me in the dierection of your lovely folks on here!
Just waiting for my follow up appointment with the derm in the next few weeks, but in the meantime i am trying a little bit of self help, before i completely loose the plot - i dont think my p has ever effected me like this before arrrghhhh!
After reading some of the posts on here it seems that the treatment that is given via a drip on 1/2 day hospital admissions seems to be working wonders! Anyone had this recently (i have read a few of the posts on here that sound really positive!)
