You really need to have a "toys out of the pram and stamping feet session" with your G.P. whenever you need to see a derm just  dont take no for an answear

Good luck with dovonex and im glad you had a good result with uvb (shame about the burns but wev'e all bin there), Try not to get stressed, life is to short, just let off a bit of steam in  here. It helps TRUST ME ! ! ! !

Hi Becky, Im wondering if besides your getting sick, are there other stresses that you believe cause you to flare? You said you only have your scalp and elbows and occassional spots on your legs? I am desperately trying to recover from a back to calf breakout. I did have a sore throat bout and I had given birth to my 5 (and last) child 7 months ago. My last 3 childbirths caused me to have this same breakout.  :(

Hello mellifera,
Hope you find this site as useful as I have. I've never had a problem getting to see my derm, in fact quite the opposite, I try to avoid him whenever possible. As I got p when I was 4 I was automatically refered to a derm & my GP (who I've had since then) is always helpful & willing to give me new stuff to try out - just lucky I guess. :)
At the end of the day if it comes back it comes back - don't worry about it, that'll make it 10x worse ;)
