Just thought I'd sign up and say hello to everyone on here.
I think it's a really good site and full of information and positive reading from other psoriasis sufferers.
I myself have had psoriasis on and off for 20 or so years. It hasn't really held me back doing the things I like doing. However it did stop me joining Royal Marines Commando's at the age of 21 as being a psoriasis sufferer is on my medical records. Big setback in my life but hey if we don't get up and get on life is wasted!
Over the last few years I have had patches, predominantly on my lower leg/shin area on both legs and have kept it under control. But of recent I have started developing small patches on other areas of my body. I've put it down to stress, but before I go to the Dr's I thought I'd run it by some other chaps who may have experienced same or have any advice on treatments. I'm currently using betamethasone cream and scalp application as prescribed by my doctor.
