Hi there
« on: April 07, 2004, 03:25:26 PM »
Hi folks
I'm a 32-yr-old mall from northern ireland and i've had P since I was a teenager. Kinda stumbled across this forum by chance.
Have been using dovobet for a while but have found that it is actually spreading P to parts of my body where i never had it before.
Also used it on my face - which was a bit of a no-no.
Anybody recommend any good treatments or shampoos that don't smell like they've been melted down from tarmac?
Look forward to hearing from everyone.
Bye for now
A71

HI Aardvark and welcome to the board :)

there are a lot of people who suffered side effects or horrendous rebounds from dovobet (evil stuff >:(). If you look around in the lab you will find plenty of thread on it and might feel at least the comfort of not being the only one who suffers ;)

Hi there A71!!!

glad you found us

there's loads of fab info on the boards - for treatments look on the lab and the alternatives boards.  Often get treatment posts in the rec room.

Good luck and happy hunting!

Hello  :)

With those above...settle down with a good wine (or mug of cocoa; your choice  ;)) and start reading. There are lots of ideas and experiences on the baords.

Yep, that oh-so-familiar coal tar smell! I can't use the stuff anymore, my skin hates the stuff!

Wean yourself very carefully off the Dovobet as your P doesn't like it too much by the sounds of it. As Sheepz says, there are lots of threads on it with lots of advice.

Look forward to your future posts

Thanks folks - taken SJ's advice and settled down with a mug of wine - it may not help the P but by the end of it I will have forgotten all about it :)
