Have just read your history and have to say a great big "WELL DONE" - you have a very similar attitude to P as me.  

What works for you works for me quite a lot.  The only thing is I have not been able to get over the barrier of swimming.  My kids used to always get onto me about not taking them and I did try but had so many looks that I just could not cope and the only time I venture into a swimming pool know is when I am abroad.  I would really love to get over this hurdle and after reading your story I have something to aim for!!

Hi Stu,
I like you do pretty much what i want and don't let my p get in the way either.
I was also turned down for the job of my dreams, funny thing really i wanted to be a nurse so much for the caring proffession!
Good luck with the fire brigade. I hope the forces loss will be the fire brigades gain.
