I am 28 years old and from coventry

When l was 19 l discovered some white patches on my knees and elbow....thinking the worst l went to the doctors, she picked at and and told me it was psoriasis, without really explaining much about, she gave me some cream to put on it and said not to put it anywhere else but the patchs as it would burn the skin...

I am 28 now and it has spread to other parts of my body, patches here and there, but it don't seem to hurt but it get tight some mornings and cracks

I cant wear shorts or skirts coz it don't look that good...but l find that the sun clears it up

Welcome to the p site.  Nice to have you here.

Thanks for sharing your story with us.  Like a lots of us you find that the sun helps - wish we could get sunny holidays on the nhs....... ooh about 6 times a year. lol

Hi Shazney,
you sound exactly the same as me! Mine doesnt tend to hurt but sometimes cracks! and the sun clears mine up too...went to Majorca this year and sunbathed in just a thong and it all went, unfortunately we came home a week later
