Ok, here's me!
I live in West London, not far from Twickenham rugby ground.
I have a girlfriend who also has p but is currently clear through success with the Pagano diet.
I work for a software company as operations manager. The company produces software for the telecomms industry and I am responsible for the European side of the business.
I don't really have any hobbies, but am a bit of a collector of dance music and do the occasion DJ bit for fun, bit of a "petrol head" like cars, bikes boats etc and have a reasonable home cinema system.
My p started about 10 years ago, initially I went to see my GP as I had a dry patch on my scalp. He thought it was Excema and gave me some Betnovate lotion. This stayed as it was for about 5 years and then I got a patch on my lower back. I went to see the GP again and he then diagnosed p.
I had to have a knee operation following a rugby injury 3 years ago and when the scars healed P also took hold around my knee.
Since then the P has slowly appeared in more places, the usual suspects, elbows, knee, scalp. I have used most of the usual topicals but now only really use moisturiser. I am going to go and see a derm and hopefully get a session of UVB, although my p is mild, I would like to get a period of being clear!
I have also had a couple of occurences of PA, these are usually only in the winter and disappear as quick as they come! :-/
For the last 2 years I have not stopped doing anything because of the p, I swim, wear shorts and t-shirts in the summer etc etc. I have accepted my p and just let others make their own mind up about it. Maybe I am lucky as none of my friends or people who I met have ever been troubled by it!
