i was out in the sun yesterday, and although i burned a little, i find it cleared up my arms somewhat. i suggest you all be persistant and give the sun a try, while its still here. moisturise the affected areas 15 minutes beforehand, and find a nice secluded place to lie down. im going out again now to soak it up. remember to do it in about 20 minute intervals then give your skin a break and remoisturise. good luck to you all. thanx for making me feel welcome.

Hi Minjin

Welcome to the boards.

Are you sure it was psoriasis that your sister had??  If it is, you'll probably find she is actually just in remission... sorry to sound so negative.

I got it when I was a child for a while... then I never had a flare for 11 years.  Mine often goes with massive gaps of years and years in between.  It goes away.... but I'm not 'cured'.

Hope you find out lots of interesting stuff here.

Beverley ;D
