Hi Biker

Welcome from me too.

I actualy tried acupuncture ...at a place in Camden Town...it a school of acupuncture and the final year students needed to have a certain numbers of hours of treatment in order to qualify so the rates were quite cheap and they were very well supervised.  The only down side was that you had groups of students watchig the treatment, which eventually put me off.

I have to say that the treatments really worked interms of "balancing" me when I felt stressed or lethargic but they had very little impact on my skin...perhaps if I had persevered a little longer it might have helped more.

Also I certainly agree with the pressure point thing...waistband of my trousers is a bad p area.

Plus I try and wear cotton clothes and avoid all synthetic fabrics.

Thanks for the nice welcome and information.
I have done quite a bit of reading on here, all very interesting.
I've just launched on a new regime since I cannot stand using any more steroid creams.  I'll let you know how it goes....  :)

Hi biker and welcome  :)

I had to see another derm at a different hospital today (as I am about to start PUVA and the machine is at another hospital...I had to go through the rigmorale of being inspected by a derm there). Lord, how she looked at me when I told her that I wasn't prepared to use any more steroids! She seemed to think I was completely mad.

Anyway, look forward to your future posts.
