Welcome along Katie. You are not alone, i couldnt belive it when i found pho either and how many other sufferers there are.

Comments by other people i find awkward, or the glances of them looking. But am becoming more comfortable with P i think.

I also found going abroad was only times my P has cleared up nicely, but alas coming home it returned (Like it was waiting at the airport or something >:()

Hope you find something that works :)

You can't catch it, so tell her bad luck. you should suport each other.

Hi Katie and welcome!

I've been looking on pho for some time now and it makes me feel human again!!   I too have scalp p and the only time it cleared up was when I was pregnant (not saying that you should have a baby just to get rid  ;) ) also mtx helped it no end.

Hope you continue to use the forum and get as much out of it as I do  :)

Hi,  No wasn't on mtx at that time. I only had P then so obviously a good dose of pregnancy hormones helped it!!!   Went on to the mtx when I got PA about 2 years ago and now on Leflunomide.........can't complain too much, it's not bad at the mo  :-\

Take care

Claire

hi katiex   :)
l think almost every one , when they find out they have p or pa think they are the only ones in the world with it cause its a disease thats not talked about, its a condition that many ppl keep hidden cause ppl dont know enough about it.But its cause of websites this like that let ppl know that they are not alone with dealing with this burden and that are ppl that know what you are going throu  :)
