Hi everyone.

My name is Chris, I'm 27,  found the site searching google and thought I would take a look. Been suffering from P for about 10 years, started as a tiny patch on my scalp and then has spread to several patches all over my body. I would consider my P very mild, half a dozen plaques on my body, and large areas on my scalp,  however i do have flexual P in some sensitive areas which can be agony sometimes! Anyway, just introducing myself, nice to find a site with people who truely understand what have P is like.

Regards

Chris

Hello everyone
It's great to have found a site where i can converse with fellow 'sufferers'
I am James from Southampton, and i'm 39. I have had psoriasis since birth
with verying outbreaks throughout life. Like most in here, i have tried the
usual prescribed medication such as Dovobet, Dovonex and Betnovate scalp
application with different levels of success. About 6 months ago I bought a
product from the US called MG217 which is a coal tar based ointment and this
has given me excellent results - far better infact than any prescibed creams.
Obviously everyone reacts differently to treatment, but this product has
worked so well for me. When i first bought it, it cost over 20 pounds from
the US but have recently been buying it through a certain auction site from
a seller in the UK for much less. Good luck everyone and hope that the cure
for this chronic condition can be found soon !!

Hi, I'm Rebecca from Chingford, London

I'm new to this.. and also quite new to psoriasis. I have had it for 9/10 months and It is every where. I am a 19 year old female and and finding that It is damaging my confidence hugely. I am trying to expose my legs as much as possible in order to gear me up when I return to university. I feel like I am still in shock. Joining this makes me feel like I'm not alone. I have found that this disease has made me feel so alone and singled out, I'm sure that my age which I got this also has a large impact on why I seem to be getting so depressed about it.

Any advice about getting used to it physically and mentally would be much appreciated, also your own stories.

Thanks
 :)
