Hi Naomi,

I am very pleased to hear that you are getting some appropriate treatment.

I have never been prescribed MTX but I am sure that there is loads of information, and experience, on this site. One or two things that I do know about it is that you should not get pregnant while being on it, don't drink alcohol, and also don't look at what any American web sites say about it. NO, I said DON'T look!

Instead, check out this link to the British Association of Dermatologists:

Hiya I've being on this detox diet for a few months and initially I did notice an improvement, I quit smoking, cut out dairy products , started drinking oat milk, running 2-3 times a week and I've just gotten into meditation to deal with the depressive bouts I've been getting more frequently. It can't hurt to try, even from a psychological perspective if you feel you have a measure of control over your symptoms you feel a little less helpless and a little more relaxed... I'll keep you all updated on the meditation but I think I might opt for the UV as well , see how that goes... Diet change 'feels' good though...if it doesn't work it's still a positive and healthy change :) p.s avoid sugar like the plague!
Good Luck! Hope you find something's that works for you
