Hello everyone,
Thought i would just intro myself and why we have registered on this forum.
I do not have Psoriasis myself but my wife of 5 years has suffered with the condition since she was 8 or so years old.
She suffered with very bad P, and thus suffered both from bullying name calling etc and having lots of time off from school to attend her various skin clinics, thus her education suffered as a result.
Like many others on this forum, She went through periods of self doubt, anger, frustration, pain etc with her P.
She is now 27, and has taken part in clinical trials and had probably most of the known treatments for P, and is at the point of not being allowed any more light treatments (lifetime).
She has, despite this condition, gone on to get a good job in the health service, and has blossomed into one of the most beautiful women i have ever had the pleasure to meet and fall in love with (hence i married her!!)

.
We are currently expecting our first child

, and looking for some reassurance found this website, this is why we have decided to join this forum.
We hope to share information with others, especially with regards to how others pregnancy affected their P and the joys of being new parents, and be part of the general P support community.
