After finding you guys (what a huge relief being able too talk with people in the similar position) in 2007 i promptly lost the site again.

What with working 15 hour days had no chance too really look....luckily now redundant (work was making PS so bad was in serious pain) so have time too ask all the questions my Doc doesn't seem too know the answers too.

Totally agree with you!!  My partner is always going on about me at how by scratching, i'm not gonna be helping, but when you've got an itch that needs scratched... it's got to be done!

Welcome back. Nothing like a good scratch, providing the hoover is nearby! Agree with Ria, unless your wearing it, its difficult to know what its like. Lots of great support, advice and people here :)

Aaaah so true about having the hoover nearby  ;D  Especially if like me you thought it would be a great idea to get a black carpet (how I wish I'd thought it through a bit more now haha.)

And talking of hoovers, I best get mines out for before the in-laws appear, can't have them coming in to see a scaly carpet lol.

Hi and welcome back securityman;  many of our doctors and even specialists, derms, rheumys etc don't have any answers when it comes to P/PA. There are the odd ones who take a real interest in how those conditions impact on our lives and they see us as people rather than a number on their file.  The days of one-size-fits all are truly over for such auto-immune conditions.  It's a good idea to keep a diary of how P/PA impacts on your life, the times when it is worse, you may recognise triggers and be able to avoid those in future.

Glad you found us again - save us to your favourites, that way you'll never lose us   ;)
Hugs
