Hello my name is Wood. Â I am a guitarist for a rock band, that's my living. Â I developed P in "88" is when the first time I started to notice it. Â My drummer called it bar elbow, I thought the same for a long time. Â Untill it started to come up on my knees. Â I was like Oh No! Â Didn't know what was up. Â Went to a doc, he told me what it was. Â I was like, what is that? Â He gave me some stuff to use. Â Hated it and put it down. Â Here it is 14 years later. Â I have P on elbows, knees, legs, head, butt, and hips. Â I still play rock for a living. Â It is hard sometimes. Â I do things to keep it at bay so the mamagement does not notice, or people. Â I play under alot of lighting, maybe that helps. Â I use a freaking rock to scrap the stuff off, and lots of Tar and lotion stuff. Â I don't live a stressful life, so my P keeps low. Â But I do get flare ups offten. Â It hurts more now than before and it is hard to hide because, it is al over me, but now I don't care. Â I just deal with it. People like the guitar slinging better, so that's Ok with me, I just don't go to partys or anything. Â I live in Minneapolis Minnesota USA. Â It gets very cold here in the winter and the P goes wild. Â Summer comes and I get better. Â That's my story and I am sticking to it.
