Hi Andrew, I have had acupunture in an attempt to treat P and Yes the relaxation was a positive factor. On it's own it did not change my P that much ( there was an improvement tho), but with Yoga ( helps give you a quite space inside and really teaches you how to relax) and a change in attitude to P on my part has made a difference.
I stopped worrying about it so much and cope with it better now.
I think it depends on the rapport between yourself and the acupuncturist, and their experience and attitude to you and P.
I think it's def worth giving a go
Tim
PS Saucy you don't feel the needles, I sat there with 17 in my back and looked like a hedgehog LOL;D

I've had acupuncture and it was very nice and relaxing but did little to my P.  It was when I was trying chinese medicine which I had to stop as it was so so nasty to boil up and drink and would have cost me about £20 every three days or something ridiculous

I also tried acupuncture and I found it was great at "balancing" me out but had little effect on my skin.  although I only did it for a couple of months and they say it works after a longer period than that...
