Better P
« on: October 03, 2003, 02:29:00 PM »
Well, I don't know if the pregnancy hormones have kicked in or what but my P is improving!!!!  Have also been moisturising loads but have not used any ointments.  A few weeks ago I was in pain with cracked bleeding skin and dropping scales quicker than a scaly thing but it has smoothed out, it's not as red or as itchy, it's certainly not cracked and bleeding, and even the miserable guttate on my throat seems to be paling and, touch wood, shifting!
Am due to see my derm on Monday, see what he makes of it.
But surely if it is the pregnancy hormones - could they not figure something out - like injecting us all with extra hormones?
Maybe there's a lesson to be learnt from this - be constantly pregnant and P free!!!! ::)

Hi Lisa,

Excellent news .... yes I believe the hormonal changes that occur in pregnancy can have that effect.

Glad you are finding that out, but ...

Hi lisalu,

glad you are clearing with the pregnancy (although... might be a bit of a bother trying constant pregnancy as cure for p ;D).
Enjoy the time :)

Actually just a thought:

maybe p should also get better when you're on the pill ??? I mean at least it's trying to cheat your body into thinking it's pregnant in a way..... maybe if one could sort it out well enough to have contrception AND be p-free .... oh excuse me... was just dozing off to dreamland here ;D
