Interesting thought... How would you find out if you had hormone imbalances?  About the depression thing - I think that's more to do with having P than hormones, we just have an extra little ( ???) thing to be depressed about.

Hope you're well anyway Lisa and not getting other "side effects" such as sickness!

my p only began after I had my son ,I'd never had any skin problems before at all. My G P semmed to think it was triggered by hormone imbalance immediatley after I stopped feeding him (myself, not totally !!) so maybe I ought to have another to see if I can reverse the effect ?? not sure my partner would be too keen on that one tho !!

Well, for me, my P was at it's worst during my two pregnancies. The only times my skin felt the slightest relief was when I was lying in a bath. I'm deLIGHTED for those whose P improves during pregnancy but I can assure you there are lots and lots of us for whom it just gets dreadfully worse. *sigh*. And my derm at the time - this is over 30 years ago - wasn't in the least bit surprised in the sense that he knew about P and how hormones balances can affect it.

Hope the pregnancy goes really really well, lisalu
