Wonder if any of you have heard about this product.... I was on holiday in Scandinavia a couple of weeks ago and forgot my Betamousse scalp treatment at home... Needless to say that was a disaster, so I went into the local chemist looking for something for P scalp problems which could be bought over the counter (having no prescription) and was given this lotion called BIO+ Active Care. It's a kind of a lotion, watery consistency. From the packaging it doesn't seem to contain any steroids, the listed ingredients are piroctone olamine, mentol and thymol (unless they are steroids and I'm just really thick...) It seems like it is probably rather alcoholic though because it burns like nobody's business and leaves you smelling like a brewery for awhile...
Anyway, whilst it hasn't cleared my scalp it has really thinned out my "helmet" as I call it, gotten rid of all bleeding and most of the flaking and reduced the redness and soreness considerably.
I've nearly finished the stuff I bought now, so I was wondering if it was available here in the UK and whether anybody else has tried it.
