Body Shop ' Hemp ' range

Hi all, has anyone tried the Body Shop hemp range?  I was in one of their shops recently and was showing an interest in this as their window advert for the stuff was stating psoriasis and eczema was helped by it.  After having a good look at the range, I was offered a free sample in a small jar, my choice,,,,,, I asked for a sample of their moisturising cream, as my hands are very dry and showing some small red spots.  I can tell you all I am about to go and by the full size product as it helped me a lot, what a difference !  o.k. the full size is £9.00p but I feel you only need a small amount as it is really moisturising.  They also do a scalp treatment in the hemp range and lots of others, can't remember now the whole list, but it may be worth a go for any of you lot to try,,,,,, so,,,,,, ask for a sample of whatever you fancy.  I liked it loads and  can't wait to get the whole tube of moisturiser.  Aye yours,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, x

Welcome aboard the fun house! I have tried the hemp cream, a friend of mine at work was given some by her sister, and you are right it's very nice. We had a great laugh about how we recognized the smell and wondered if anyone else would remember the smell from our 'hippie' days. As we are so far in the boonies, I have to wait for the major trip to the city to find it take care, Shar

There have been a fair amount of discussion in the Forum about Hemp and the Body Shop range. Most people find hemp is terrific - particularly hemp oil for the scalp. (Me included)

My issue is with the price the Body Shop prices. So I found another cheaper source (and others did the same). Mine is at You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login (posted with Michael's blessing since there's nothing in it for me and the people that run the hempgarden do offer a 10% discount to any customer quoting this forum.

Mind you, the Body Shop hemp does smell lovely!! Hemp ACTUally smells like grass, so they obviously add something or other!

ive used the hemp products b4 , they are really nice, work well

i got my hemp oil from goldshield much cheaper but a lot grassier i use it on my scalp after jo posted about the hemp garden.

The scalp oil is wonderful.

Really helped me. It actually got rid of pretty bad scalp P actually...

I also use the hand cream (not so much for P, but because it is the best handcream on the market).

A real hit with me!

Thanks all for replies, also Jo, will definately go to the site you told me about, am desperate to try something alternative to everlasting tubes of cream from docs, also having been in and out Derm ward about once a year for last 6 years or so, am determined can't go back in to lie around in there for 4-5 weeks, honestly, you would have more to do in jail- boring's not the word!  I just can't take that time out any more now.  re smell and hemp, will have to take you lot's word for that ! Shar-your major trip to the CITY what exactly are you intending to buy, wasn't quite sure, ha ha.  Bye for now.

Was looking at the hemp range the other day actually, I do have a tube of hand cream that was free with another purchase but haven't really tried it, but I might get some scalp treatment as mine is driving me mad!
