11 is really young to be on Methotrexate (MTX), it must of been a hard decision to put him on it :(

I'm on MTX injections. I was on the tablets but I found the tiredness too much to cope with. I was wiped out for at least 2 days a week and that is not good with 3 kids to look after.
There is a lot of information on here about MTX, some good and some bad. In all honesty no one can say what, if any, side effects your Grandson will have as every one reacts differently to it.

Is there anything in particular you are worried about or have a question about?

I really do hope that MTX works well for him with as few problems as possible x

Hi there.   I can tell you that I have been taking methotrexate for a few years now and have never had a problem with it.   I don't suffer from any of the side effects and whilst is has never cleared my skin completely,  it has improved things 80%.

Of course Brandon only being 11 is very different to me starting on it in my forties.  I turned it down for years, and now realise I shouldn't have.

The worse thing for me is the monthly blood tests.   I hate them.

Wish Brandon good luck,  and let us know his progress  :)
