Hi all. Not posted on here in ages but do visit regularly to see what everyone is up too.
Saw derm on Tuesday under the impression (more fool me) that he was going to start me on biologicals - but he said I need to try Ciclosporin first. Problem is the effect on kidneys as I have been a Type 1 diabetic for 39 years and kidneys can be effected by diabetes although mine are good at the moment. Derm is writing to diabetic specialist (they are in the same blinking hospital so why he couldn't just pick up the phone I do not know!) and asked me to go back in 6 weeks - 6 weeks of NO treatment and just want to rip my skin off - you know the feeling guys! So wondering if there are any other diabetics out there on Ciclosporin and if it is working for them and how kidney tests are doing? Any ideas/feedback most gratefully received.
I hate this disease so much
BTW had p for 25 years - been there and done it re traditional and alternative therapies  ::)

Ah but have you tried the new 'sleep like a vampire' treatment that will 100% rid you of your P!??!!?
Yeah OK only joking :P

Sorry to hear about your problems :( Does seem rather long winded when the answer is likely gonna be a simple yes or no.
I've been on Ciclo for 6 months or so now but I don't have diabetes. Worked great for me at first but my P is getting worse day by day.  Kidneys are functioning fine though which is something.

Good luck getting some advice xxxx
