hi there

i suffer with PA and joint, ligament and tendon damage due to hypermobility syndrome. I started my cyclosporin yesterday. I did double check with the pharmacist about ibuprofen and its a definate no no which is a swine as it definately helps with the inflammation.  >:(

When i was on mtx tho, ibuprofen was also listed as a cant have but i checked with my derm and he said as long as i was within the correct dose a day, it was ok... :-\ ???  So i'm a bit confused now tbh

Hi
When i was on cyclo,i would have to fast 12hrs before my blood tests and i would end up with bad headaches. My derm told me to take paracetamol and on the occasion i did my blood test weren't good :( so my derm asked me what i would normally take for my headaches i said ibuprofen,he said then i should carry on taking ibuprofen instead of paracetamol.after that my blood test were ok. But do check with your derm first. :)
