This is the end of my journey on the Enbrel boat, Humira is approved but I have to take a short break to flush it out a bit which we're negotiating as they want to give me ciclo in the meantime and I don't really want it, more bloods on Friday, ENT on the 13th, praying he won't approve of the idea of ripping my tonsils out to throw a spanner in the works, back to the derm on 20th for the blood results and (fingers crossed) the Humira. Meanwhile I've come away with my derm's mobile phone number and work timetable between now and then and the orders to get hold of her the minute the flare gets unbearable. Now's the time to, rather shakily, shout YAAAAAYYYYYYY!!!!!!!
I hope this diary may at some point encourage someone else to take the jump as I did, however reluctantly, although it wasn't my wonder drug and I've had my ups and downs on it none of the horrendous things I was expecting, like dropping down dead immediately

have happened, and I must be one step closer to finding 'the one for me'
