My daughter developed guttste diagnosed by GP, I treated with Dovobet which cleared her back, dermatology appointment came through and I had to cancel as spots have all dissappeared.

Dovobet is different to Dovonex as dovonex isn't a steroid cream but Dovobet is.      Be very careful with overuse of dovobet as a rebound is likely and it thins the skin so can make it come back worse.  It's temporary fix but generally, as I'm sure many people on this forum will say, not worth it in the long run.

On a separate note seems like my P has plateaud,  pale spots that are a lot less itchy and flaky.  However they do seem a bit bigger for some reason. Going to keep using it as I'm only party way through one tube and have two tubes.

To answer a couple of queries, no I never experienced a burning sensation and my spots never got bigger. It's possible that there may be a lot of p activity going on and Dovonex is holding most but not all of it back! We're all different in our reactions to any treatment though so just keep an eye on things

That is good advice Yorkie.

I wish that I had never used Dovobet
I used to have more flakes than Kellogg's

Hello ranleyb,
I am new as well and nice to meet you. I use a vitimin D ointment myself just like dovonex just differnet brand nome.
Here is somthing pulled from the internet that might address your conserns  with burning:

What are the possible side effects of Dovonex?
Serious side effects are very rare. Stop using Dovonex and seek emergency medical attention if you experience an allergic reaction (shortness of breath; closing of your throat; swelling of your lips, face, or tongue; or hives).
You may experience some irritation of the skin, such as burning, itching, redness, swelling, dryness, or peeling while you are using Dovonex. These side effects sometimes lessen with continued treatment. Notify your doctor if you experience these side effects.

If you notice a change in your skin color, contact your doctor.

Austin~

Yesterday and today i've noted that i now have red pinpoint spots all over my chest where i apply the dovonex. I don't think its psoriasis :/ but can't be sure.  Did anyone else notice this?
