Exorex lotion on plaque p

Hi , just got some Exorex lotion for my p , read not to use on broken or sore skin, my knees have bad plaques which i tend to scratch in the night while asleep so they become sore and even to the point where they bleed.Does anyone have advice about using this cream on my knees  >:(

I use Exorex.. I just posted on another thread - I would use a good moisturiser first - then apply the exorex - the itching is bad and the thicker the plaques the more itchy they are, have you tried putting a light gauze bandage on your knees at night - it may help

I have used Exorex and it is fine to use on cracked P it just stings like crazy!!
I would recommend a stack of cocois/sebco and like Joan Back again said wrap them up after applying a load overnight then have a deflake in the morning and apply exorex at least 3 times a day to see any results!

Sorry it is Coal tar in salacylic acid ointment also referred to as scalp by some people as it usually used for the scalp to deflake!!
