Don't panic...

Remember, you can take lots of time doing the injection. Yes, try leaving the needle in place for a while before removing it...

A very similar thing happened to me when I first started injecting...I hit a vein and it poured blood and Enbrel. It happens, but experience helps you realise how to inject effectively.

Funnily enough, I was a leg injecter to begin with...I hated the thought of putting it into my tummy! But I now inject there often and it seems to be easier than the leg...and I have never, ever hit a vein or had a little bit come out.

Practice makes perfect!
